As we enter our twenty second summer at The Ship we never seem short of things to keep us occupied!
Firstly we congratulate Steven and Maike Fitzpatrik, both of whom work at The Ship, on the birth of their son Charlie who arrived in January.
We wish Jill Philip, Fiona Pratt, Victoria Pendry and Sally Wilson every success as they prepare to participate in the gruelling Rob Roy Challenge. The Sue Ryder Swim takes place once again in Elie Bay in August and the organisers are hoping for as good a turn out as they had last year.
Our customers have an opportunity to purchase tickets for the Cloudy Bay Seafood Lunch in July that promises to be a jolly event, washed down with the famous wine from New Zealand. Our Cricket Fixture List features old and new friends, the Beach Hut returns once more, and brace yourself against the elements at the start of next year for our New Year’s Day Barbecue.
Many of our promotions could not be put together without the generosity of many of our suppliers and our thanks go to each and every one of them. We also welcome back Alliance Wine as our main wine supplier and many thanks are due to David Douglas for his help in choosing the lovely wines we have to offer this year.
So here’s to an enjoyable 2011 and don’t forget to pick up our Brochure for The Golf Tavern as there is lots of good food and promotions on there too!!
