A pub since 1838, The Ship Inn has established itself as the focal point of one of Scotland's most popular day-tripping destinations. Situated at the end of the village, it overlooks the beautiful white beach and the bay. Owners, Richard and Jill Philip, have made the most of their glorious seafront position, the infamous beach cricket games. The pub's team take on invitational sides from around Scotland and further afield. Our terrace plays host to regular summer barbecues and serves homemade burgers and sausages, check the dates in the food and drink section. Throughout the rest of our website you'll find details of the many offers and promotions we will be running throughout the course of the next twelve months. Our cricket team have a new main sponsor in Rettie & Co and we hope the weather for this year’s matches is somewhat better than the deluges we suffered in 2007.
For children, there is the reading of a Ghost Story during the East Neuk Festival. Add to these Jill’s fabulous cooking, some exceptional Wine Offers (including The Annual Tasting with music from Three Point Turn) and you’ve got lots happening at The Ship Inn this year!! |
